Maxbupa denied my health claim on just basis of possibility of pre-existing disease

MAXBUPA HEALTH INSURANCE DENIED MY CLAIM ON BASIS OF DOUBT.

Hi, it is almost one year since I took max bhupa health insurance for my family. Seriously this company is in such a mess that they don’t care about existing customtakeouters and interested only in getting first time customtakeouters. I have not made a single claim after taking their policy which means I am a profitable customtakeouter to them even then they f ucked up by irritating me by denying my claim.

I usually don’t write any reviews but I am so much pissed with Max bhupa that I made it a personal mission to write everywhere on the net possible to and make sure that other people don’t fall into the same trap as me. My max bupa policy number is 30140130201200 and policy inception date is October 2012. My spouse had supposed to get the laparoscopic cystectomy done on 19th September 2013 as it was detected in sonography in February 2013. They denied my claim as they are saying that this is a POSSIBILITY of pre existing disease and cannot be ruled out and liability cannot be established. I had attached the doctor’s letter mentioned that Ovarian Cyst was detected in February 2013 and existence of this cyst is not known as no sonography was done prior to February 2013.

Since they denied my claim I kept calling their customer care executives and sending emails but I didn’t got any positive response from their side. Every time I called their customer care number on 1800-3010-3333 also sending emails I received reply keep saying that my cashless hospitalization is denied on the basis of possibility of pre existing disease and cashless hospitalization cannot be reconsider again once it is denied so go for reimbursement (which is not mentioned in my policy letter). Even I attached doctor’s justification letter and sent to them through email mentioned that Ovarian Cyst was detected in February 2013 in first sonography and existence of this cyst is not known as no sonography was done prior to February 2013. I keep requesting them that let me talk to your doctors team, but they don’t allow me to talk to their doctors team.

I do not understand why I should have to settle the hospital bills and go for reimbursement as I have cashless hospitalization facility on my mediclaim policy. This is totally unbelievable. I have no money to pay the hospital bills and that is the reason I am going for cashless hospitalization benefit.

This company is only interested in collecting premiums. While taking the insurance i was told many things and first thing they told me was that they were not like other health insurance companies , that is true atleast other companies try to make you feel that they care about you but this company right after taking insurance premium they outright tell you that they don’t care about you.

Please do not take any insurance from max bupa. My number is 91-9920148378. If you still feel like taking insurance please give me a call, i will do my best to dissuade you. Also, convey this to everybody you know that they should not take insurance from max bupa. Max Bupa is a terrible company with non-existent processes. Their Management does not seem to be having any idea of such realities. Please do not apply for Insurance with this company.

I will now ensure that every online blog has a comment against this company since they cannot solve the problem to anybody’s satisfaction.

And Yes… DO NOT PAY the next 35K premium to pay the salary for these lousy service managers this company has…I would also like to say the same to all other customers who have not yet known this.

I would seriously not recommend this product or its company’s policies to anyone. They are complete liars and Hooligans.

Such a company’s license should be barred by the Financial Service Regulator in India.

God will only save those who have taken Maxbupa. These guys are real cheaters. They just need some reason or the other to refuse cashless or reimbursement claim. I had a very bad experience with them. Please do not buy this insurance please. They have refused the claim of simple medical problem on just a doubt. Please be careful. There are so many good insurance companies in the market never go for Maxbupa. They are real cheaters.
