I bought a Lenovo G580 brand new laptop in Jan’ 13. Within 2-3 months of usage the laptop started giving problems and one fine day in May it stopped working completely. I called the Lenovo customer care and registered a complaint for the same and they promised to look into it within 2 working days. But much to my surprise and shock nobody even made a call for a week and then after many complaints and escalation till their MD level, a executive finally visited my place after ONE MONTH and declared the operating system had crashed and again took 3-4 days to sort it out, I was assured by Lenovo that time that this kind of behaviour will not be repeated again. Thinking Lenovo is a good brand name I left it there only.
But after a month of that repair the laptop again started giving problems, stopped working on battery first and then completely stopped working.
Again when I registered a complaint they assured me a service in 2 working days but of cource till date nobody visited my place. They once gave me a call saying that a executive will visit , I was waiting the whole day leaving all my work but nobody visited.
Can you please explain what was my fault in all this? That I bought a lenovo laptop? What is the point of getting things repaired again and again after so many escalations? Who compensates for the time and mental harrasment I suffer in making complaints and also the loss of work I suffer during these months?
Now I am tired of all this, I want my money back and also a compensation for all the ill treatment I have got. I don’t want to do anything with Lenovo and want my money and compensation back
