I have ordered an Electronic Toy from Homeshop18 on 11.08.2013. The item was displayed as in Stock & will be delivered with in 4 working days. I have paid the amount in advance through my debit card. The team of Homeshop18 send me a message immediately, confirming that the order was received & will be delivered with in 4 working days and they gave an order reference number. when i checked for the order status on 15.08.2013, they displayed that the gate pass was issued for the material and on 16.08.2013 i got a message stating that the order delivery is delayed & it will be shipped on the same day. The team of Homeshop18 has not given any track details or courier details for the order except the order reference number. I called their customer care to know the exact status on 16.08.2013 but i got a poor response from them stating that the order is under process & will be delivered with in next 4 working days . When i asked him whether the material has dispatched from their ware house or not, their customer care executive told me that the material has not yet dispatched from their warehouse & the order is still under process, then i asked him, how homeshop18 has send me the message stating that the material will be shipped today then he told still 5 hours remains for the day & it may be shipped & delivered with in that 5 hours. This way Homeshop18 people are taking the orders for which they don’t have in stock and not giving proper reasons & response for the delay and bluffing the customers & trying to cheat the customers saying that the items will be delivered with in hours. Hence i request consumer care forum to take necessary actions on Homeshop18.
