Harassment by the Company

Location/place: Chandigarh

Name of company/service: a2zShopping Limited

I placed Order for Lava Iris 405 (B1851343 ) with www.shopping.indiatimes.com on 19.06.2013 and make the payment through Credit Card.

After 9 days placing the above order, I received the product from M/s a2zShopping Limited, # 10, Daryaganj, New Delhi, on 27.06.2013.

After receiving the product, I found that the Earphone & Data Cable is not working.

On the same day, I informed M/s Lava International Ltd. regarding the deficiency in the product. They gave me the address of their authorized Service Centre at Chandigarh i.e. M/s AKS Telecom, SCO. 1092, Sector 22-B, Chandigarh.

I take the above said product to AKS Telecom and they told me that it has a defective product and should be replaced by the company from where I was purchased it. AKS Telcom declares the product as defective and provides me Dead On Arrival (DOA) Certificate dated 28/6/2013 which was required by the company for replacement of the product.

On 29.06.2013, I sent a scanned copy of DOA Certificate to the company which I was received from their authorized Service Centre through email ID : [email protected] and write them for the ‘Cancelation of Order’ and refund the payment which I was paid for the product.. The company acknowledged my email through their reverse email on 29.06.2013 and gave me Complaint ID No.950379 for future reference.

After talking with the company, I also sent the defective product back to M/s a2zShopping Limited, # 10, Daryaganj, New Delhi on 02.07.2013

Now, 34 days have been passed but ill today, the company Neither Make Any Call to information me Nor Refund Any Amount which I was paid on 19.06.2013.

I am regularly paying the interest on making payment through Credit Card but the company never bothered about that.

Whenever, I called to Customer Care, they only said that the cancellation process is in progress but himself they never informed me about the status.

The company very much harassed me by not making any call to inform me and not refund the amount which I was paid for the defective product. Therefore, it is humbly request to your goodself that please take appropriate action against the company and penalize him.
