This a complaint against Lakme Salon RMV Extension branch, Bangalore. I went there for getting my engagement makeup done. The day before the engagement they asked me to do some pre bridal services which included hair spa.I had paid everything in advance. On the previous day of the engagement I got my hair spa regular done which costed less than Rs.2000(including tax). On the day of the engagement when I went for makeup in the morning they said my hair was too oily(though I didn’t apply oil) and they(Stylist Rosy and Salon Manager Rekha) need to do a hair spa again before they could do the hair styling.I was in no mood to argue as it was my engagement that day and didn’t want to spoil my mood. I agreed thinking that it would be the same hair spa treatment as the previous day which costed less than Rs.2000.While doing the hair spa she said I would need to pay for this hair spa but didn’t tell me how much it costed or what extraordinary hair spa she was doing. I told her I would pay it the next time as I didn’t have cash on the morning of the engagement as I had cleared all my dues in advance payment itself.When I went there yesterday she said my pending amount for the previous hairspa was 3675 + taxes totally to Rs.4000 + for just a hair spa.RIDICULOUS….as she had done some expensive hairspa instead of the regular one.They are out there only deceiving customers by charging excess without informing the amount before hand.This is such unprofessionalism on the part of Lakme Salon.Also when I settled my bill yesterday I found that she has charged Rs.106 extra(tax upon tax).When I found out this and called them up ,they said they charged 106 rupees extra due to some computer system error.I’m really fleeced by their behavior.I’m sure even in my previous visits they have charged me extra.They never ever gave me the bill for previous visits until yesterday.I beelived they wouldn’t be charging extra.It was the first time they gave me a bill.The senior staff at this particular salon are always forcing services on me even though I don’t ask for it and later say they applied extra face mask or bleach even without me asking for it. I’m put off by this unprofessionalism from their side. I believe Lakme has a brand name and wouldn’t cheat but looks like the RMV salon is only out there to deceive the public.
