Poor and shameful service ever

Name of company/service: Cross Roads, Car Breakdown Service Provider

My mother, a doctor with the govt system, was driving one of our vehicles which has a year round coverage with Cross Roads- Car Breakdown Service Providers. The car suddenly broke down in the middle of the road while she was getting back from work (precisely on SP Marg, Delhi). Thereby she was stuck and called CrossRoads for help (complaint no- 731) on 15.07.13 at 06.16 PM. After a long wait, the service providers did come, and refused to provide her any sort of help. My mother was shocked and taken aback by the response, especially after the long wait she had done by the roadside. These people claim to help in their best possible for vehicle repair, and if its beyond their reach, atleast they provide towing facilities (as mentioned in their policy papers). But those people just left with giving any help, and finally my mother had to call me from home and we arranged for a local towing crane and got the car to our local mechanic’s repair garage. It was a shameful and the worst service we could ever expect from CrossRoads. Even when contacted to atleast provide some local crane service’s number by my mother, they absolutely refused and denied to provide any information or assistance to her. We would never recommend these providers to anyone ever, rather have your local means ready and not waste time waiting for these pathetic service providers, who claim to be number one!
