I bought HP Laptop in US and shipped to India in the month of Dec 2012. Its hard disk crashed in the month of Feb 2013. I approached Hp authorized service center in Hyderabad and as it is under warranty period ,Service center has replaced it with a new hard-disk. My bad experience, hard disk again crashed on 10 July,2013. I approached the same service center again and as it is still under warranty they said we will replace the hard-disk. But my problem is I lost confidence, it may fail in near future again. My warranty period expires on Oct 26,2013. If I get to experience the same problem again then I have to pay for any replacement. I called the Indian customer support of HP and told entire problem. Currently my laptop is at service center. Customer support guy saying that this time we ensure that problem is rectified completely and it will not re-occur but I do not have confidence. I asked them for replacement of product(laptop), for which the answer is ‘not possible’. I even asked for extension of warranty. Again answer is ‘not possible’ as this laptop is bought in US.
Please help and resolve the issue.
