We had received a call from Ms Geet Mehta (08800857953), from Reliance Life Insurance saying it’s a special policy with single premium investment of 1.20 Lakhs for locking period of 5yrs and we can enjoy the add on benefits as follows till next 5 yrs.
Benefits Committed:
1. 25 % discount on Reliance Energy
2. 25% discount on Reliance Trends, Reliance Foot Wear and Reliance Fresh.
3. 10 Lakhs Mediclaim for Individual and family every year
Also Geet Mehta had mentioned that, we would get confirmation calls from Reliance Company and other agents confirming on 5 years of premium payable every year and we just have to agree and post that we would get a policy document confirming that the policy is single premium plan and we would get a card which would entitle us to committed benefits. We tried our best to follow up with her for almost 1 month for our policy documents and we received the document in the month of April which stated policy is 5 year premium payable plan, hence we decided to cancel the same. But she still convinced us that we would get revised single premium policy document in few days. We again trusted her words and waited for almost a month. Finally we requested for policy cancellation and refund as we didn’t get any card of committed benefits nor the revised documents. She agreed to refund our monies. And wasted our time/days for almost 1 month saying chq has been issued and will be delivered to us in few days. We also texted her our bank details with IFSC code for internet transfer and were following up with her for refunds, but time and again she was just fooling and now whenever we try calling her someone else picks up her calls and informs that she has left the job as there are many complaints regarding her. Calling up Reliance call center is of no use as they informed that the policy is routed through some third party called AB capital. Trusting on the brand and wrong information’s shared by Ms Geet we were fooled to buy this policy. It’s almost 4 months now and we have landed nowhere.
Sir, we had invested our monies on the name of Reliance and now we are being fooled. We need our money back, as we have arranged for the same through personal loan. And we don’t have more to pay future premium for next 4 years. We have tried our best to speak to Reliance Life Insurance call center executives but it’s in vain.
Writing you this letter is our last hope and looking forward to your intervention for the same.
