This is regarding the new law by the govt. for taking housing loan. whoever has taken the loan after 1st APril has to Pay a demand draft of 1000 rs to the registrar office at haveli no. 1 within one month of the notice that they get from the bank. this is an intimation to the govt. that u have taken loan from some bank of x rs for x Property.
However the officers at registrar office have hardly any knowledge of the law.
Since i have got my loan disburstment on 8th april , i also fall under this law. the Bank sent me this notice on 8th MAy 2013. and so as stated in the mail that i have to do the needfull within a month that is 8th June , i went to the registrar office on 1st june. however they havent accepted my form and draft, saying that they can accept only within a month. that comes to 8th May. i.e the day when i got the notice. the bank says that they sent me the notice as soon as they got it from the govt.
now the bank doesnt take the responsibility nor does the registrar office officer names “M.Y. Dhumale”. who hasnt given me in writing that he cannot accept. My property is with bank.
