Respected Sir/Madam,
I purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Grand phone on Saturday 1st June 2013. Two salesmen at Reliance Digital, Aminora, Hadapsar, Pune convinced me to buy this phone and the box was not opened in front of me. While the other salesperson engaged me in collecting my details and payment information, the first salesperson unboxed the phone himself and asked me for a Sim card to be inserted in the phone. It was yesterday that I noticed that the glass of the camera of the phone is broken in such a way that there is no damage to the exterior of the phone and it looks like a pin was inserted in the camera eye to break the glass. I took this complaint to the Reliance Digital store only to have their salesperson put the blame on me. I bought a phone for 20,000 Rs only to break the camera myself. The camera clarity still remains clear and intact though. The salesperson at Reliance Digital was all eager to convince me that this was done by me. Initially, aren’t the salesperson supposed to show the customer a phone when they are unboxing the phone. It only means either of the 2 things, either the Reliance Digital was very good at making me look at only what he wanted to show me, or according to the Salesperson – Samsung is making phones whose camera can break very easily as soon as you put the phone in your pocket.
