Hi,
I have a Titanium credit card of Axis Bank & my last due amount was around 23000 due on 30 March 2013. I deposited the cheque on 28 March 2013 in Barakhmaba branch ATM. I also called up at the customer care on the very same day to update about the cheque info that I deposited for the payment but she told me that it is not required. Once the payment will come, we will credit it in your account. As I was going out of India on 30 March 2013, before leaving I called again to confirm but got the same response.
Once I came back on 11 April 2013, I got to know that late payment fee charges alongwith service tax and debit interest alongwith service tax has been laid on my current statement. I called up the very same day and the executive told me that late payment fee alongwith the service tax will be refunded. For another reversal, I need to call back once this amount is refunded.
I called up today for the same and first spoke to Gopinath, your customer care executive. He told me that it is not possible as we need to deposit the cheque before 3 working days of the due date. I then spoke to Santosh, your senior customer care executive and he told me the same thing, I don’t understand one point, that if it so then the executive whom I spoke last regarding reversal of late payment fee & service tax, he didn’t tell me anything about it. Though, he told me to call again and it will be refunded. Does your executives have different information? Why do they give false information to us???
Also, when I asked Santosh to cancel my credit card, he conveniently told me to call you back once I have cleared my accounts. He didn’t even bothered that he is losing a customer. Is this the way to treat your customer?
I need an answer to it asap. Just to inform you that I am going to file a complaint in the consumer forum as well for not telling the truth to us.
