Hi,
I have applied for mobile portability switching from aircel to vodafone on Monday April 1st,2013 and against which i got one sms from vodafone at 2.16 AM, April 10,2013 mentioning that my porting request has been approved and they will communicate the porting date and time shortly. But next day when i woke up, i found no signal on my phone so i changed my sim to that of vodafone but that too showed no signals too. so later that day i contacted vodafone customer care and they said that i have to visit nearest vodafone center to get my number fixed. which i did and they gave me a new sim number with request ID – 2341188306 and promised me that my number will get activated within min of 4 hours and max of 24 hours.but after 24 hours,services to number are not restored yet.so i called vodafone customer care again and to my surprise they said it will take 48 hours more to get my number activated.
My only contact number is out of service for past 2 days and i am loosing great deal of information concerning my job and daily life.
Please pay attention towards the same so that i will be thankful to you.
