I purchased Solar water heater from Navkar enginners, Vasna Ahmedabad for Rs 45000/-. Within one year back up electrical system failed & he chrged Rs 2500/- on the ground that electrical items have no warranty.On the same day there was leakage in main water tank which he ensured to be replaced free of cost. He kept on avoiding on one or other ground for almost 3 months & now he has submitted total estimate of Rs 55,000/- for the tank, its insulation & refitting.After deducting tank cost for free replacement he is demanding Rs 12600/- form me. How cost of tank can be more than total cost of unit which includes solar cell, electrical fitting, base for tank it installation etc. Because i have purchased his unit he knows I can not do any thing for parts required by me & he has no fear of govt officers of solar energy department. He has misused govt subsidy on solar unit & I think there is no check on quality of equipment by govt department before releasing subsidy. He is now not even attending my telephone calls & what he demanding from me is actually cost of tank on one or other head.
Is it not cheating with government because very purpose of giving subsidy is defeated when can not be use worthy within almost one year.
