Severe Performance issues of My Bajaj Pulsar 200NS

Location/place: Pune

Name of company/service: Bajaj

Hi

I bought Bajaj pulsar 200 NS on 29 Dec 2012.
Till now it has done more than 5000kms.All the following problems started after the first free service.

1>Engine makes weird noise when acclerated
2>the gear pedal makes loud noise when i shift, earlier the gear shift was quite smooth.
3>Pick up of the bike is has gone down.
4>Engine heats up a lot.
5>Mileage has gone down.
6>the fuel meter shows a new reading every time i switch it on.

the bike has been serviced timely,as per the handbook at
Sai service station
Survey No 470/2 Ep 469/5 B,
Next To Sandvik, Mumbai Pune Road,
Phugewadi-Dapodi, Pune – 411012

At the first free service when i mentioned the last problem(#6).
The manager there said ‘It’s not a problem at all.’
And when I said ‘ can you write it on paper with your sign on it? ‘
I got this from him ” Do whatever you want complain to whoever you want. When I say Its not a problem it is not a PROBLEM.”
I had attended the 3 days Health Checkup Camp by Bajaj 200 NS Experts.
Even they coudn’t fix the problems, promising to fix it at the second free service.
So at the second free service they took my bike kept it for two days and returned to me without fixing anything.
They gave me appointment of two weeks later stating that they do not have the required parts.
So I went there again, and to add to my misery my bike still lies there (from 30/03/2013 onwards).
Whenever I call them regarding the status, I get the same reply “Problem not fixed, we are still working on it”.
I have really grown tired and impatient of the so called ‘service’ provided by Bajaj.
For a middle class man, without two wheeler, daily commutation prices are soaring HIGH,and the means are painfull and rare.
I am an office going person and without my bike i feel highly immobile.

Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

Regards

Ritesh Kumar Sinha
