Dear Sir,
I have an Airtel DTH connection no.3005514356 since last 3 years. On March 19, 2013 at 4:00PM, I had applied for a multiple DTH HD connection. The payment was done through my credit card and confirmation call was received by me. It was mentioned in the mail sent by Airtel that the installation will be done within 24 to 48 hrs and call can be made at 12148 for any concern.
I have requested the Airtel customer care executive on phone to kindly install the set top box in next 24 hrs as i have some personal assignment to fulfill on which the executive has shown his agreement.
On 20th and 21 st I have made around 15-20 calls to the customer care where they did not given any proper response and at times even disconnected the call.
After completion of 48 hrs when I again called them they have credit the amount of 2590/- in my airtel DTH account at around 9:00 PM.
On 22nd March 2013, when I again called them in morning at 8:00 AM, the executive said that I have made the payments on 21 st only and the installation will be done within 72 hrs.
Later I received calls from the airtel customer care asking for connection where I have asked them to disconnect the current connection and also reimburse the entire amount with penalty for the delay.
Dear forum members Since last two days I had lot of mental harassment and also due to delay in installation. I request you to kindly take stern action against Airtel and provide adequate compensation to me.
