Dear Sir,
My father had a credit card of ICICI Bank in 2006-07.He used it rarely and of late because of the excessive EMI’s charged by the bank after clearing the outstanding amount he closed the account. All these years there was no word from the bank regarding any of the dues. However, since last 20 days I 20 days I have been receiving calls from a female employee of the bank asking for a repayment of outstanding Rs 30000/-. Because my father is a heart patient with many other co-morbidities, I did not want to bother him and did not let this girl get in touch with any of my family members and tried to explain her the facts. But this lady didn’t listen to me at all and started using abusive language for me and my family. On Saturday, 16/03/13 this lady called me again and started speaking ill about my family and me. The numbers from which she has called me are-02261562305 and 8652089368. She makes from these numbers around 20-30 calls in a day and has made my life a living hell by calling me every minute. We are ready to make this additional payment despite of the fact that we will be in a loss of Rs 30000 only because I want to get rid of this every day nuisance.
And also I am writing in this forum because I know it very well that I am not the only one who has face this kind of harassment from the reputed bank’s recovery agents, I genuinely want to put and end to this kind of undue exploitation faced by the general public.
