Hi,
I had taken Airtel 3G postpaid connection on January 7, 2013. Here are the details of my connection:
Postpaid number: 9972937711
Plan: 6 GB 3G GPRS Free, therafter 3p/10KB,(After 6GB,100 percentage Free)
Area: koramangala 6th block
My current usage of data as of Feb 14, 2013 is 3.37 GB. Inspite of having 3G data balance in my plan I am getting speed less than 30kbps (mostly 5-10kbps). So, I raised the complaint against it. My complaint number is 48733194. After taking 4-5 days of time one of the folk from customer care called me and said “they have made some network optimization in the pole near my area and speed should be ok now” but the issue persists. Then I again called up the customer care and asked for the status then the person in customer care tells me “We do – not have a 3G site in this area and it will take 90 days to resolve the issue”. And, they suggested me to take some other connection which will cost me device cost and the waiting time for the verification of the data from other provider.
My question is why i was not informed about it when i was taking the connection? I wasted both time and money on it (getting 3G device, waiting for verification, then filing the complaint etc).
Moreover, the staff in customer care is just not courteous. If you ask something to them which they don’t have answer to they will just say “I am helpless” and they will bang the phone right on your face.
Through this forum, I look forward for proper resolution to my problem ASAP.
