Hi,
On 14th January 2013 i got a message from Idea Saying :
“Dear customer, thank you for downloading VIDEOS from XINLABS. You have been charged Rs 99.”
Since I had not downloaded anything I called up the customer service immediately to explain the situation.
Apart from being obnoxious about the entire situation the customer service agent argued with me,was extremely rude and hung up saying that I should call once my bill was generated.
My bill was generated on 9th Feb 2013 and i called again to register a complaint since the Rs99 was reflecting in my bill.
Even after escalating the complaint I was given the same run-of-the-mill replies like
“you must have downloaded something and hence you were charged”
“we cannot revert the charges because the system wont allow”
The attitude which Idea has, towards the problems of existing customers, is sickening. Apart from requesting to revert the charges I would suggest Idea to concentrate more on quality service instead of concentrating just on widening its market. Making catchy “honey bunny” commercials may get Idea new customers but it wont be able to maintain them unless they improve the quality of their service.
