This is a feedback regarding my purchase of Toyota Etios. I booked my vehicle on 10th December, 2012 with Wasan Toyota (Sanpada, Navi Mumbai), at the time of booking I was told that I will get the delivery of the Vehicle by end of December. I paid the entire amount by 24th December. On 31st December I got a call from the dealer that the vehicle which they are delivering to me was manufactured in May and is available with the dealer since September.
This fact that they already have the vehicle and the manufacturing date was of May was concealed to me, when I informed them that I will not take delivery of the old vehicle I was given the option to cancel my booking. Considering the fact that the bank has already disbursed the loan, I had paid the processing fee etc. I asked the dealer to give me the delivery of the 2013 make for which the Dealer demanded Rs. 20015/- extra which I promptly paid.
The proforma invoice which I was given had Rs. 59000/- as registration (RTO) charges and the receipt which was given to me has the value Rs. 52000/-. When I enquired about difference in the amount I was told that they would issue me a debit note (as this amount was used to pay to RTO officials for which RTO does not issues receipt). After filing the complaint Dealer has given me a debit note that they have paid the amount to RTO but for what they dont have the answer. The only reply is “Sare Dealer yeh karte hain”.
The story does’nt ends here. The vehjicle which I booked had only Speakers and no stereo system. I asked the dealer about the price of the stereo and the price he quoted me was exorbitantly high. I told him i will get the system from outside and requested the dealer to fit the same for me so that my electrical warranty remains intact. The dealer agreed to the same and he charged me Rs. 500/- but now after delivery of the Car he is refusing to give me in writing that he has installed the system.
I sincerely urge the management to look into the matter and I am feeling helpless.
