Dear Sir/Mam,
I booked a return ticket through Makemytrip.com on Kolkata – Delhi sector on Go Air Airlines.The date of travel was 8 – 11th February 2013.
On 20th I was informed that my onwards flight of 8th Feb is cancelled through a call from the airline and that for refund I should talk to makemytrip.com.
I called makemytrip.com customer care number. They told me that they will get back to me on the same within 24 hours. After repeated calls and emails, I received a response on 23rd Jan. They told me that they will give me a full refund for Kolkata to Delhi flight on 8th Feb but would be deducting the cancellation charges of Rs. 1000 on the return flight from Delhi to Kolkata. 1. The ticket was booked together on makemytrip website on the same airline (Makemytrip Booking Id: NF2201823155849)
2. At the time of booking makemytrip had advertised a coupon on their website “EASYCANCEL” which entailed that there would be no cancellation charges at time of cancellation. I had used this coupon while booking.
3. The website also refused to provide me an alternate flight on 8th February without extra charge.
