Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Julie Andrade, I had bought Whirlpool double door 310 lts whirlpool refrigerator 4 yrs ago with 5 yr warranty. I had lodged a complain to Whirlpool customer care on 16th ref no BG0812008004. I got call from their enginer who came to check the refrigerator and advise that socket connecting the compressor has been burnt and need to be replaced which would cost me 730 Rs. Next day he comes and replace the socket yet refrigerator didn’t start cooling… then he concluded stating compressor need to be replaced which will be done by a weeks time and some other engineer wld contact me. 2 days passed I didn’t receive any call from other engineer I called the customer care again who promised to have an engineer call me… yet didn’t receive and respons. Again I call’d on 23rd to the customer service as adived them that non has approached me yet..If I can escalate this to their higher authority and also I told them failing their response I will approach the cunsumer court. Same say I got an other complaint number BG0812014051. Same day I got a call asking for the issue. I explain to him and asked him to contact the previous engineer who has already come and see the regrigerator. He told me he would call back ( which he never did) I was out of station on saturday not sure if they tried reaching me… today 27.08.2012 I am still waiting for mercy by whirlpool. I called the customer service again today to check the status. Lady promised to hv some higher authority to call me back… Whirlpool after sale service is really bad… with in warranty service is treated as least most priority… They don’t hv any followup call’s, I hv lost my patience and on only hope this will change I am posting my complain can someone guide me.
