I have taken a HDFC Ergo Health Insurance policy on Sep 2011.While taking the Insurance they have told me that my insurance will be active immediately & i can use it for any health related issues.But on Aug 06 2012 , i have undergone a surgery at Apollo Hospital Chennai & after submitting all the required documents for insurance they have rejected my application saying that i cannot use my health insurance for any surgery purpose util 2yrs passed from the day of the insurance taken.This point has not been intimated me while taking the insurance.If this would be the case then i would not have been opt for this insurance.Now i want my money back from the HDFC Ergo company for cheating me.Please help me.They have cheated the customer.
