Non Delivery and no refund

Location/place: New Delhi/NOIDA

Name of company/service: Fashion and You

I’d placed an order for two products on the online shopping site Fashion and You on 28 Jun 12. Full payment was made on the same day with credit card. As per company policy the stores should have been delivered within 20 days. On being contacted on 25 Jul 12 on phone I was told that the stores shall be dispatched soon. Again after 7 days, on being contacted I was told that the item is not available with them and they are trying to get it failing which the order can be cancelled. Couple of phone calls and e mails later on 09 Aug 12 I was told that the order has been cancelled since the items continue to be unavailable and that the money shall be credited in my account within next 48 hrs. Same reply has been given on 13 Aug, 15 Aug and 18 Aug but 48 hrs are yet to get over. On 13 Aug I was also told that they are waiting for a confirmation from their dispatch deptt and only after that they can process the refund. In between I also got an e mail on 30 Jul informing me that the stores have been dispatched!! Every time their customer care deptt is contacted they give a parrot like identical reply that refund shall be credited within 48 hrs but every time they fail.
It is a clear case of deficiency in service and a very bad experience.
