Basic International Roaming has no incoming call charges, no charges for incoming messages as well except INR 100/- to be charged only for activation was advised by Ms.Preeti Sophia executive of Vodafone customer care on phone call dated 08.06.2012 at 7.45 am and for the same service request no-2251318804. later after receiving the bill it was noticed all the incoming and incoming messages were heavily charged, later had a conversation with Mr.Mukesh Sharma of vodafone and forwarded a mail on 26.06.2012 providing with the details. Received a mail on 27.06.2012 from Vodafone care through Mr.Peeyaswani Bhasin specifying all the charges provided are genuine, I reminded with a revert mail on 27.06.2012 at 11.18 am specifying it was customer care executive Ms. Preeti Sophia advised repeatedly that there are no additional charges for incoming calls and incoming messages except activation charges of INR 100/- (The call was an recorded one),later on 28.06.2012 received a mail from Vodafonecaredel(DEL-NE) from Mr.Peyaswani Bhasin specifying sincere regretion and inconvience cause due to MISREPRESENTED information provided by their executive and moreover the charges charged are correct and has to be paid.
Again request was made on 29.06.2012 at 1.25 pm, 29.06.2012 at 1.46 pm through mail and telephone (Mr.Gurupal) bearing reference no 2255744122 and again reminding on 03.07.2012 at 9.50 pm through mail for the correction of bill after deducting the extra charges charged.
Received mail from Vodafonecaredel through Mr.Amrendra Mishra on 05.07.2012 and from Mr.Pankaj Kumar on 07.07.2012 regret for my request made and to clear the bill at the earliest otherwise the call to be barred.
IF i was to pay such charges then i would had opt for some economic operators or not to be utilised during Basic International Roaming-even these were told to vodafone.
