I ordered a PCBC Chrono Watch from Snapdeal. Order ID: 987567890 on 11th May’13 by paying 899/-. After purchasing I came to know that the quality of said watch is not good and there are multiple negative reviews about the product, so I mailed snapdeal to check for the quality of watch before shipping. However after a week’s delay, the shipment came to my friend’s place (As I am mostly out of city).
So the same thing happened which I was afraid of. After opening the box, I found that the watch had scratches on it and the dials were also not functioning properly. I again complained to snapdeal regarding the same, first they asked me to click photographs of the watch and send it to them. Then after few days they said they’ll pick up the shipment and even after waiting for a month, nobody came to pick up the faulty product.
Finally after multiple calls and emails to them, I was told to send back the product on my own expenses (which they told it would be reimbursed.. guys beware.. again fraud… they return you snapdeal cash, not hard cash) and the product cost would be refunded back as soon the item reaches them. I sent back the courier to them using TRACKON COURIER SERVICES TRACKING ID: 353694780 and the same was delivered to them on 22nd Jul’13. (Screenshot Attached).
Now its 2nd Aug, I am calling them everyday, but nothing is happening. I talked to Anoop, Monica, Gaurav and Mrinal (Supervisor) but nobody is competent enough to provide me any resolution. I am afraid if I would be getting back any refund.
This time I am sure I would be approaching consumer court and filing minimum 10000-20000 as mental harassment claim as this is clear case of fraud. I already discussed the issue with the concerned authorities at consumer forum Chandigarh and they will guide me to file a complaint on Monday i.e. 5th Aug’13.
I have got all the mails from snapdeal which would be used as an evidentary proof to launch a complaint.
I suggest everyone not to purchase anything from snapdeal anymore as they are a bunch of crooks who are really careless, impolite and incompetent.
