Dear Concerns,
It has been really frustrating using the Airtel connection. From past almost 3 yrs I am using this connection but this is first time I have observed the communication gaps with customer care executives of Airtel.
First of All I have activated the GPRS connection on my mobile first time & that is also after confirming the message details with customer care executive on August first week. I haven’t remember the exact date but I have the SMS “AGPRS” which is sent to the number 51619 as suggested by the customer care executive. The same SMS is there in my Mobile sent items till now.
After 15 days of activating the GPRS service I have observed unbilled amount of rupees 2000 + so I have called on customer care on 20th August 2012I had chat with Mr.Nikesh Rathod Conversation ID 1106347155
I have told whole history to him & then he told me that what sms you have sent that is correct for 1GB free plan of GPRS 98 rs PM but right now on your mobile the plan of 10 paisa /10 KB is activated. I really surprised at that time. He was not even ready to listen my things. He was telling me that there was no call received on customer care of yours for activating GPRS. If there is no any entry in your system about my call then its not a problem from my side. I have called for the same in first week & also what SMS I have sent is also the correct one for the 1 GB plan if the other plan is activated on my mobile then its mistake from AIRTEL not from me.
After whole chatting with him he told me that you can log a complaint after your bill generation. Then I have logged a complaint Complaint no 45770530 Conversation ID 117503443 about the same at that time bill generated is of 4000 rupees. I haven’t seen this bill amount in previous 3 Yrs. Right now your executives are telling me that there was no call from you for activating GPRS on First week of August & we will not waive the charges for the same.
