TRAUMATIZING THE CUSTOMER- DEACTIVATION OF NUMBER

Hello!

This complaint is against telecom service provider Idea Cellular.

The problem that I am facing is that in spite of having:
a) cleared all my bills,
b) submitting the required information(like- bill receipt number, date of payment of bill, customer name, number, etc), and
c) submitting my request for deactivation of the number online (on 02-July-2012, based on the directions given by the Customer Care Executives)
no action has been taken. All the promises regarding the deactivation of the number within 6 hours of the request being made have been defaulted upon. Failed to have received any response from the customer care executives, I forwarded my case to the appellate authority as well as the head pf the customer care department of Idea, but received no response from their side either.

Being a student who lives in a hostel, all these false promises, delays on part of the company, making me run from pillar to post is causing me a lot of trauma…

Please help me in resolving this problem.
