Poor quality of bus and also change in bus type without proper notice

Name of company/service: Sharma Sardar Travels

I booked a sleeper class bus ticket through red bus on Sunday August 26,2012 at 2.30 pm from Bangalore to Chennai in Sharma Sardar bus boarding at Madiwala

At around 3.00 pm we were told by the travel person incharge of Sharma travels that the sleeper bus is not available and we need to travel by a semi sleeper bus which is not even a volvo bus

No prior information/notice about the same was informed to us

The bus was not in a good condition and the bus we travelled also stopped for about more than half an hour at various places to board different passengers as if it was a government bus and not a point to point bus

When in contacted the bus owner/travels owner i was informed that there were only five people who have booked the sleeper bus and all five of them can collect their entire amount from Sharma Travels

I was not at all satisfied by the way i received response from owner/manager nor i got a proper response from the Red bus call centre person who attended the call

I felt really very bad and dejected

The A C in the bus was also not switched on and after desprate fight and argument with the incharge person in bus the AC was switched on

I was feeling very tired as the bus was not in a proper condition

I also noted that there were no two drivers but only one driver

I need a proper explanation and also iam planning to claim damages for such a treatment to valuable customers and no proper explanation given for sleeper bus not functioning

I also note that the fare for Friday and Sunday is substantively higher that fare for other days despite the same quality of service

I sincerely want some one to take proper corrective action in this regard
