I bought Mcromax A110 on 10 jan 2013. The battery of the phone stopped working just in 5 months from the date of purchase i.e. on 13 June 2013.
I called Micromax customer care 1860 500 8286 on 12 june 2013.They gave me the con tact number of Aaditya Telecom in Shakaarpur, East Delhi. But SURPRISINGLY, the customer care people do not even know whether the company’s service centre is still in existence or NOT. I called the service centre 50 times, NO ONE attended the calls. Then again I called customer care. I told them no one is answering the calls at Aadditya telecom ( Company’s service centre). Then the customer care executive asked me to go to the service centre itself and we are not allowed to give any alternate number. I went to the centre which is about 5 kms from my residence BUT I found the centre is closed since long back. Which is shocking that company people are not aware of the fact and does not hesitate to waste time and money of consumers. Executive was neither bothered to check whether the centre is still in existence or NOT, NOR He took any steps to find the reason for inconvenience of unattended calls.
Now Again the customer care is telling me to travel to kalkajii centre for replacement of battery. DISGUSTING.
MICROMAX A110 POOR PERFORMANCE, IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF, BATTERY STOPPED WORKING IN JUST 5 MONTHS. BATTERY NOT AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET EVEN. WORST SOUND QUALITY IN HANDSET. REALLY DISSAPPOINTED. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME
