Late delivery beyond promised time

Location/place: New Delhi

Name of company/service: Ferns and Petals

This is reference to the order I made yesterday for INR 8388/- through a telephonic conversation at around 4:15 PM; order no 701114681.
I needed 6 bouquets on urgent basis for a corporate event at Hotel Taj Palace by 6-6:30 PM which I was promised by the sales representative would be delivered to me in time following which I made the payment on the call using my Credit Card.

I kept following up for the delivery with the customer care which kept pushing every hour; from 7 to 7:30 and then to 8. After 8’0 clock, the phone lines stopped responding and after I was left hopeless the delivery was made at 8:45 PM and the bouquets were of no more use to me coz of the delay.

I wish I could make the payment by cash so that I could clearly refuse the delivery for such late response.

I would want a refund of the entire amount coz of the delay and would expect a better commitment from FnP being a regular customer and promoter myself.
In case the delivery in the scheduled time is not possible, the sales representatives should not make fake promises and clearly state the possible delivery time.

Also, I have made 3 calls since morning for the sales invoice which I was told would be mailed to this ID but during the third call I was told to mark a mail to [email protected] to get the same.
