Name of company/service: Idea 3G Rs. 999/- plan/pm
I activated the Idea 3G plan from Nizampura, Baroda office in March 2013. Customer number: 8154003326. I was assured by their office representatives that my location gets the best 3G coverage. So I activated the highest Rs. 999/- plan. But, I did NOT receive a 3G speed ever. I made multiple complaints at their customer care and also went to the office in person. However, there was no response to the complain and no call back either. I decided not to pay the bill until I get the 3G service, but I was sick to getting their calls, so I finally paid off the complete amount yesterday and closed the account.
I have not even used the 100MB of the data, because my 2G was faster than their 3G. Plus, their plan is NOT on pro-rata basis. Meaning, I ended up paying for the dongle, full amount for 10 days in March, Full April, Full May, 15 days June. Basically, I have paid 5,000/- for NOTHING.
I wanted to file a complaint again to Baroda’s main office located at the Landmark building, but on a weekday afternoon, they had a wait of 18 customers and only 3 help desk. So I finally left unhappy.
Idea is answerable to me, and I believe that they must provide me with a refund. As their records will show that I have hardly used their 3G service.
AND NOT TO FORGET, THEY HAVE THE MOST UNEDUCATED AND MANNER-LESS CUSTOMER CARE STAFF. SO RUDE AND NO USE A ROUGH LANGUAGE AND TONE. HATE IT…
