Hi Sir/Madam,
My husband Rajeev Menon and I had registered for service on 25th June 2012 from Excel Manpower and Maid Service (Regd No:760167326)to get a maid to take care of our baby while I go to office. We paid Rs.4200/- to them in this regard. It is now 1 month and 10 days and they have not yet sent a maid of our requirement. The officials there mentioned that they are not able to find a maid. So I asked for refund of the money. They said they would refund the amount but have not responded to my emails or calls from then.
We had specifically mentioned over the phone not to send anyone from Badlapur since it is very far. But their official had sent a maid Meenakshi from Badlapur pretending that she is from Majiwada Thane. This caused a lot of inconvinence for her and us since that was never her requirement neither ours. How can they search for someone who is not our requirement and then mention that the service is being used?And that is the only maid who came.
For the past three weeks I have been calling their officials on the below mentioned contact numbers every day morning and evening initially to know the status of maid search and later for refund of Rs. 4200/-.

Either no one picks the call or disconnects the call or does not respond properly. I used to get a response that “we would call back” which has not happened till date.
I am left with no other option but to contact consumer court for refund.
Kindly help me in getting the refund.
I have the receipt for the amount that I had paid them.
