Sir,
I have taken a new connection of BHARAT GAS from CALCUTTA FLAME; DISTRIBUTOR CODE (461839) ADDRESS 9B/1 R. K. SAMADHI ROAD, KAKURGACHI, CALCUTTA 700054, DIST CALCUTTA.
The connection been taken in the name of my spouse “Mrs. Chumki Sinha” residing at Flat No. 5/B, 127B, Narkeldanga Main Road, 5th Floor, Kolkata 700054.
The connection is of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited Subscription voucher (SV 052) / 889330 dated 17/12/2010 Consumer No. 26100.
I was only offered with the new connection with a condition to purchase 12 (twelve) packets of ITC branded Mustard Oil and was asked to pay an amount of Rs 3200 for the new connection including an oven, One filled gas cylinder and a regulator. For the second cylinder I was asked to pay Rs. 2500 /- which was delivered after a month. The bill for all this was not paid to me after insisting them and altogether 7 packets of oil was delivered and 5 packets are yet to be delivered. Altogether I have paid Rs. 5700 /-.
It was told in the beginning that one needs to have the oil since it’s the scheme of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and the bills to be given at a later date.
Many a time either myself or my spouse has visited them but neither had we received the oil nor the bill. The bill which was given to me is of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited amounting Rs. 1250 /-.
In view of the above, I like to bring to your knowledge the malpractices carried out by M/s Calcutta Flame and request you to take necessary steps and do the needful.
Also, I request you to let me know the actual cost for taking a double cylinder new connection.
Thanking you,
With regards,
