Dear sir,
I had purchased SBI Equity Share in 1994. MCS Ltd. was the registrar at that time. Now this responsibility has been given to Datamatics Financial Services Ltd w.e.f. 1/10/2003.
Oblivious of this fact, I sent my original Share Certificate to MCS Ltd five months back for redemption. They should have returned the certificate back to me, as a healthy business practice, since it does not concern them. I even agreed to pay for postage and handling charges, but they did not return the certificate to me. In fact, they do not even respond to my mails (I have sent several mails to them). I am concerned because the certificate was original.
I want to know if this issue can be raised at a consumer forum.
