1. My monthly package was (up to 20-04-2018) MERA APNA Bharat Pack: Rs. 100/-+Nat Geo Wild as add channel: Rs. 10/-+Bangla as mandatory Regional Add-on Pack: Rs. 41/-= Rs. 151/- per 30 days i.e. daily subscription charge @Rs. 5.03/-
2. My closing a/c. balance on 31-03-2018 was Rs. 1221/- as per their statement
3. On 20-04-2018, I deactivated the add channel Nat Geo Wild [Hence present package rate Rs. 141/- p.m.]
4. I used my previous package for 20 days in April 2018, which would cost (Rs. 5.03*20) = Rs. 100.60/-
5. Therefore my a/c. balance should be Rs. 1221- 100.60/-= Rs. 1120.40/- as on 20-04-2018.
6. But Dish TV deducted Rs. 170.48/- and my a/c. balance showed Rs. 1050.52/- on 20-04-2018, i.e. (Rs.1120.40-1050.52)= Rs. 69.88/- more than the actual subscription charge.
7. Dish TV has stolen this amount from me.
8. I tried to lodge a complaint in the matter, but they refused to refund the amount back to my a/c. because as per them I had changed my package by discontinuing Nat Geo Wild, which was activated at the time of last recharge.
9. It is to inform here that I had made a recharge of Rs. 1449/- for 12 months’ subscription on 28-11-2017 availing a discount @20% for long-term recharge after making conversation with Dish TV customer care. Then I was informed only that I could not upgrade my package during the next 12 months to continue availing the said discount. But they never told me that I could not discontinue any add channel also.
10. Neither I upgraded my pack nor downgraded the same, as the question is not applicable on me because I am enjoying the Base pack.
