I purchased a Skullcandy S2IKDY-010 Ink’d 2 Headset (Black & Red) from Amazon, It worked fine for one month, after that it stopped working. Product says it has 1 year of warranty. I contacted Amazon, they told to contact Distributor as the product can not be returned, after contacting the distributors, they told me to send the product to them, after 2 days when product reached them I got a mail saying:
We were in receipt of one Earphone that you had sent to us at our Service Center for warranty claim purposes whose details are as below:
Model Name: Ink’d w/mic
Category: In-Earphone
Quantity: 01
Date of Receipt for warranty claim: 04.07.2016.
However, based on the physical inspection of the product, we regret to inform you that the same has been found to be a counterfeit product.
Hence product sent by you, being a counterfeit product, cannot be claimed under warranty. Regretfully, you have been cheated by the Seller if they claimed this to be a genuine Skullcandy product.
I trusted Amazon, but it sells fake products.
Necessary action should be taken else Amazon will continue selling fake products to innocent customers.
