I had bought Samsung mobile with Syska secure insurance as gift to my wife, the bill (number S15/1717 of Rs 41561/ dated 23 Aug 2015 from SSK Retails Pvt Ltd) of this was in my name as I had made payment using my credit card. Unfortunatly mobile screen got damaged as it fell from my wifes hand. We filed complaint with Syska (complaint number 1511280531) and after submitting all documents, phone verification and confirming that the claim has been approved; we were informed that our claim has been declined as mobile was damaged from third party. My questions are simple: I was not told about the third party no claim process by SSK Retails Pvt Ltd. but was just told that all damages will be covered. I handed over my mobile to some agency for repair & I had no idea for 15 days where my mobile is. When we called customer care of Syska to inquire about status of our complaint they confirmed twice that your request has been approved and suddenly they sent us message that your claim has been denied as the mobile was not with the insured when it was damaged.
