I purchased a Karbonn Blaze KC540 Dual SIM (GSM+CDMA) Mobile, IMEI No. 911230351681870, vide Invoice no. Del/072014/7897 Dt. July’14. On receiving the phone I found the charger not working & the CDMA SIM mostly not working, showing a message Failed to register even in areas where network was full, whereas the same SIM was working fine on my old Micromax Mobile.
I visited their Service Center ‘MOBICARE ‘at KOLKATA with the handset & the invoice, but they told me to come the next day with the packing box of the mobile. The next day I had to go out of station so I requested to rectify the same day but was told that without the original packing box, it was not possible, so I had to return.
My work involves extensive touring. Mostly I remain out of Kolkata, & return back to Kolkata for a very short period only. It is not possible for me to visit your Service Center as soon the mobile starts giving any problem, & that too frequently.
So, I had to depend on my old phone & on return to Kolkata went to your Service Center with the box, where the software was updated & the charger was replaced. But within a couple of days while on tour I began facing the same problem again.
In short, within this 1 year period I further made 2 visits to ‘MOBICARE ‘with the same problem but even after rectification the problem kept on recurring.
On my last visit to your Service Center on 27/04/2015, with the same problem, they kept the mobile & told me to come after 5-6 days. I went there after a fortnight & was told that it will take more time & I will be informed on phone. When I received no call I contacted on phone & was told that my mobile is being sent to the Company (KARBONN), & it will take another 15-20 days.
I kept on calling ‘MOBICARE‘in between & finally when I called on the last week of June, I was told that my mobile has come back from Company (KARBONN), but the problem has not been solved & it will take another 10 days but till now I have not got any positive response from them and the handset is still in the Service Centre.
For the same problem I had sent two mails to KARBONN Consumer Care ([email protected]) but I have not got any reply from their end. Also on my second I mentioned it that if I did not any response from your end then I will move to consumer forum but then also no response from their end.
The above fact clearly shows that either this model is faulty or this set is having a manufacturing defect from day 1. During this 1 year I visited their Service Center5-6 times and the Handset is still lying in their Service Center since 27/04/2015, & the time it was with me it was faulty & very rarely used.
Sir, now I have exhausted all my patience that too with valid reasons, so I request you to please solve this problem. There are lot more facts I can tell, but my letter is already a bit lengthy & I hope from above facts you can yourself realize the unsaid portion.
