Deposired cheque even after paying the bill

I got a call from Airtel regarding my mobile bill payment, lady on the phone asked to make a payment through cheque and said she’l activate the services as they were disconnected. I agreed to it. She sent their executive to collect the cheque on my address I gave him the cheque and services were activated. After two days the services were disconnected. I called up the executive and asked him the reason. He said I’l need to make a payment by cash. I agreed to it and asked him to collect the cash but he didn’t came. To activate my services i made a payment through freecharge and informed the executive about the payment made as well as informed him not to deposit the cheque and cancel it. Executive agreed to it. On 12th of july the cheque was deposited and got denied due to insufficient funds in my bank A/c. I informed the executive about it. He said he’l take care of this. But now I’ve been fined from my bank as well as Airtel itself for denial of cheque. I got a message from Airtel that they’l be disconnecting my services and asked to make a payment again. I’m looking for a compensation and hope to get it soon
