I have purchased a mobile Mi4i from flipkart a month ago. I found it to be malfunctioning. I asked for the replacement and it was initiated. The replaced product was again faulty. When I asked them to replace it, initially they tried to bluff me saying its the mobile feature. When I said I am an IT guy please stop giving that crap and accept its a bug, they asked me to visit the service centre. Firstly I have purchased a new product why should I be going to the service center. When I visited the service center, the Mi personnel agreed it to be a faulty product and asked me to get it returned. He never made any update in the system to acknowledge the same. When I asked flipkart to return the money as even the replaced product is faulty. They are not ready to do so. They are arranging for a replacement. I am fine with it as long as the product is functioning well. My question being a customer is:
This will be the third replaced product. In case this is also faulty, they will again not accept it and ask me to visit service center. Am I bound to waste a day visiting service center and get a confirmation that the product is faulty and still I do not get my money back. I am really harassed by flipkart to visit the service center again and again and still they do not refund my hard earned money.
I agree it may be their policy not to refund the money, but it should not be the same in case the customer has been getting the faulty product repeatedly.
There should be a limit to it, after which customer should be liable to get a refund.
I strongly look forward to get my problem reach the concerned person and strict action be taken.
