wrong blood test done for a liver transplant baby which delayed the treatment

My daughter is 2year 6 months old baby had liver transplant on March 2014, she was suppose to having a blood test namely EBV PCR QUANTITATIVE, DR LAL PATH LAB OF SERAMPORE BRANCH SAID THEY WILL DO THE TEST AFTER SEVERAL ENQUIRY FROM THEIR LABS, REPORTS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED AFTER 7 DAYS BUT WE GOT THAT AFTER 15 DAYS THAT TOO WAS FOR QUALITATIVE TEST NOT FOR QUANTITATIVE.. after enquiring they told us they are doing qualitative test only not quantitative and the charge for the test was Rs. 4700.00. Being a liver transplant bay this test means a lot for her treatment, which got delayed for more than two weeks, we need to send the blood sample on our own to Bangalore where she got transplanted after so much ups and down.
now if anything wrong happens to my daughter who will take the responsibility and the pain she suffers with the tensions to her family members who is going to compensate these all.
DR. LAL PATH LAB called me up several times to say sorry, but only sorry can compensate the pain, agony etc to the baby and her family members??
