I ordered some glasses from ask me bazar a online portal under e-retailing, on dated 27th of May,2015, it was a pre-paid purchase (i paid deal price with my debit card). I received the confirmation mail from the website but without delivery date. I immediately call their customer care number (0-4444 44 4444) and they said they will deliver my product within 10 days after the confirmation of the order. On 5th of June, one delivery boy came to my office address which was delivery address, to deliver my product. He took my sign and asked me to give me cash against my product because he said it is a “Cash on Delivery” order. I told the guy that see this is a pre-paid order and it was written on the packet, but due to misunderstanding he took my product back to rectify mistake. After that I was in touch with the customer care officers to know the status of delivery of my product, they constantly said my product is on transit and will be delivered by 8th of June,2015.
Today (9th June 2015) I call the customer care (0-4444 44 4444) and asked for the delivery status, he said your order has been cancelled because product has been “out of stock”. I told the whole story that one delivery boy came to my office few days back and asking me to pay the money against my product which was pre-paid.
He suddenly turned his statement change and said sir we are taking your refund request etc. which I didn’t asked. They are totally fraud and misguiding the customers. If a product is on transit, how it could be out of stock.
Out of stock product information can’t be given after or during transit of product.
I just want my product as soon as possible, but these fraud people will make me fool. I don’t know what to do.
But govt. and other officials should stop these fraud companies to work and mislead the customers. these companies should go to jail and pay money for customer those wait for more than 12 days for purchased product, mental harassment and customers time and money.
Thanks
