I am serving in Indian army and applied for New Postpaid connection on 15 Mar 15 i was allotted with postpaid no 7541036666 under Indian Army plan. There was no information given to me that i will be charged a vanity nrc gold charge of Rs 2500/- and when i got the bill in it, it showed Rs 2500/- as vanity nrc gold one time charge to be paid, which is not understood. I have made complaint in the customer care service, but there is no solution being provided. At last i am fed up calling customer care and get irritated with Airtel. You are requested to look into the matter and resolve the same so that i can pay the remaining amount and change this SIM to another operator which do not cheat like Airtel. I am customer of Airtel Since last 10 yrs

I am also being cheated by Airtel. Moreover, the phone number given as Appellate Authority is also an invalid number (9831844865).
Recently in October 3rd, Airtel Customer Care executive called me and send an executive for a new connection. The executive carried some number with him and asked me to choose one. I have chosen 9831427863. The executive asked Rs. 100 and not ready to provide any money receipt. I had denied to pay anything without any receipt. This month I have being charged against my new number as “Vanity nrc gold” Rs. 2500+GST (total Rs. 2950/-). When I raised this to Customer Care the responded that this is for selecting premium number and they can’t do anything. They provided the Appellate Authority number which is again invalid number. To me, this is a clear blackmailing to me. Unless I clear my dues, I can’t port out to other vendor. Really don’t know how I can get rid of this cheating.
