Could not board the flight despite of confirmed ticket issued by Air India leading a big loss

Me and my wife were supposed to travel to mauritius from Mumbai on 29/04/2015 and return on 05/05/2015 for which tickets were booked of Air Mauritius flight from Air India on code share system (an aviation business arrangement where two or more airlines share the same flight.),Hence i had an Air India ticket with me with a confirmed PNR and e ticket No. with it.

We reached Mumbai a day prior as it was an early morning flight and booked a room in the hotel.
24 hours prior to my travel i tried to make a web check in from the link given in ticket (Air India web check in link)
but was unable to do and when reported the issue I got an answer from the call center that it is may be because of some system issue,Hence I decided to go early to the airport to follow the normal check in process from Air Mauritius counter.
However Air Mauritius staff told us that our name is not present in the passenger list and told us to contact Air India booking office,I contacted the Air India staff In charge Mr. Vinod Chandorkar but he refused to help us saying it is not Air India fault.
This Blame game continued for next two hours with no legel conclusion as result of which we could not board the flight.
Later on Air India accepted the fault and promised us to provide us with the refund for the boooked flights.
Also my travelling agent rescheduled my package by 1 day baring all the expenses.
However apart from the above refund there were other loss associated with this and needs to be bared by Air India.
1. Rescheduling Expenses: We had to travel back to Indore as per the plan on 6/05/2015 but because of the above issue we had to get it rescheduled and hence bare the expenses ~ INR 5000.

2. Addidtional Day Stay in Mumbai Expenses(Hotel + Food): ~INR 3000.

3. Additional Travelling charges: ~1000.

4. I would also like to claim an additional settlement sum of INR 20000 for the over all mental trauma and inconvenience that i had to go through as i was kept waiting on the Airport for more than 8 hours.
