I got a call from 0120 – 6495777 asking me to purchase for Rs 6000 from website www.indiatodayers.com and they will give me assured gift

i asked them the cash price gift and placed the order for 2 pressure cookers of Rs 3000 each i.e. total Rs 6000

now i received a confirmation email :

I have done the shopping and now today after 24 hours they are telling me to pay 12.38 % service tax and 3 % VAT before getting the cash price or any other price.

Do i have to pay the tax before getting the proof of price in hand?

Help me out with this issue.

I have finally asked them to cancel my order and give me refund as per online ordering laws.

But they are telling now call on 25th of April to get the refund i cannot initiate before that.

    I have booked one product with India Todayers .com product is Sony cyber shot DSC W800 and paid Rs. 5999 on 22.04.2015 and As confirmed by India Todayers Co. I have won Rs. 95,000 as a Cash Prize along with the product that I have booked and against this I have to pay Rs. 11742 as TDS amount and after Lot of follow up by India Todayers .com I have Paid Rs.11742 also. But till date I have not received any confirmation for delivering the product and not received any confirmation of winning amount. I am regularly calling to above Co. But till date no response from Co Side and I fill I have cheated after making the sufficient amount . kindly advice what action has to be taken.

    I ordered a watch and they gave me different color and the watch is also broken. Now they are saying they will pick it up but no one’s responding to mails now. Please take some action against them

    I ordered HTC 820 mobile worth 20000 rs & the same thing happen with me, but with help of HDFC dispute centre & My complain towards bank I got my 20000 INR back into my account after 90 days.

    You can get your whole money back if you had not pay any extra charge like deposit, service tax or VAT.
