I am having a SBI Visa platinum card number 4377 4856 5433 4416. On 24 March 2015 I received a call from number 08171364725 saying that the person is calling from SBI card and if I want to redeem my reward points. And in terms of verification he asked my card details to cross check. Also asked verification code on my cell which received. I was in a hurry to go back from work, so it was not clicked that someone is doing a fraud call.
I received SMS of airtel money payment bill desk that Rs 5070 payment has been done from your card. I immediately communicated this to SBI help desk executive, he locked my card. Also I asked him if I would file a police complaint of this call. But he said SBI cards FRAUD AGENCY will take card of it and he lodged my complaint 1935337666, also I lodged complaint with Airtel.
I filed complaint with Airtel money also, but neither SBI nor Airtel ready to take any action against it. That person maybe cheat another cardholders like me. Hence please take appropriate action.
