No responce for Mobile Number portability

I wished to applied for tata docomos CDMA service with mobile number portability from GSM network to CDMA network on contacting customer care service i got a reply that i need to follow a process which i followed later at store the representative told me that it is possible on if I opt for Postpaid services but when i contacted customer care they said it is possible on prepaid service also. Now I am not getting any conformation about that it will be port on prepaid service or not.
