I booked a ticket via www.goibibo.com on 1st October 2014 for a Go Air flight from Mumbai to Kolkata on 30th December 2014. The booking id is G80SYQT4. In the booking confirmation mail, it is communicated by Goibibo that- “You can change passenger names or alter itinerary details online, 24 hours a day Online changes save you money. Rs.250 per passenger on the administrative fee charged over the phone”.
However, when I wanted to change the passenger name, they said it is not possible and I shall have to cancel the current booking and rebook in which case normal cancellation charges would be applicable. Even after repeated requests, they did not pay any heed. All I want is a change in the passenger name which, as per Goibibos confirmation mail, should not cost me more than INR 250. But Goibibo has refused to do so.
Even after realising that it was their fault, Goibibo refused to compensate for their false claims.
