First of all I visited the customer care centre in the first week of April 2014 to sort out the problem. They were not able to help me out and they said they will sort the matter after checking the records and give me a call which they failed to do. Still I kept paying the bills. Again in July 2014 I visited the centre saying that I am getting excess bill. After going through the records I came to know that I am being charged for the internet connection which I have not asked for. On March 31st I personally went and changed my plan and I personally told them that I do not need internet connection as I cannot carry my phone to office and have got net connection in my office and unlimited net connection at home and so I do not need such service. When I enquired again in July at the customer care centre in chembur I came to know that I am being billed for internet connection since April. I asked them how the net has been activated without my knowledge. They said they had given me a call in the first week of april and it was activated. However, I never received such a call,. I asked for the record of that call which till today they have not been able to give me. They themselves were confused and have not been able to produce the call record. Then I sent a mail to Mr. Gaurav (incharge, customer care service, chembur) but he also failed to respond. On 6th July, I put up a complaint on facebook’s vodafone page and Mr Puneet replied that he will resolve the matter and give me a call which again I have not received till today. I won’t pay for the services which I have not asked for or used. Every now and then we get a call from the customer care, the last call being in the last week of october asking me to pay Rs 850 and within a week of the payment, I will get a letter for final settlement and closure of the SIM connection. Then, on what basis am I supposed to pay 1451?
They are just hassling the customers
