packing product date is before actual date

My friend cousin had brought haldiram’s 5 rs pack 2 days ago (29th Aug 2014) and he found that packed date is on 1 sept 2014 .. its is very shocking to see packed date is than the actual date.. I also have seen shot of the packet.. If needed I can share it..
